Ciao, io mi chiamo Cristina, sono una ragazza, di 16 anni, italiana e sono venuta in Uganda per capire come vivono le persone del luogo, per esplorare in che condizioni vivono. Sono arrivata un paio di giorni fa ma solo ora capisco quanto sia importante e come una o due perone possano fare una differenza radicale nella vita delle persone.
Sono venuta a Lacor, Lacor è il posto dove mia zia e zio hanno dedicato la loro vita per aiutare le persone del luogo e per dar loro speranza di un futuro lungo e felice, precisamente loro hanno dedicato la loro vita a curare le persone. Hanno fondato un ospedale nel 1959 e da allora tante persone sono state aiutate.
Ieri pomeriggio fuori da Lacor mi hanno portata a vedere degli uomini sistemare un serbatoio di due tonnellate, noi siamo abituati alle macchine a tutti i fondi che vengono utilizzati per comprare, aggiustare queste macchine. Loro non hanno nessun tipo di macchina, dipendono solo dalla forza delle loro braccia, ho scoperto inoltre che il lavoro manuale qui non viene pagato, per cui gli uomini che ho visto ieri alzare quel serbatoio lo fanno per avere delle risorse per loro stessi e per le loro famiglie non per essere retribuiti.


Hi, my name is Cristina, I am an Italian, 16 year old girl who came to Uganda to understand the people that live here and to explore how they live and in which conditions they live in. I arrived here a few days ago but only now I understand how important and how one or two people can make a difference in the lives of people.

I came to Lacor, Lacor is were my aunt and uncle dedicated their lives helping people of the place and trying to give them hope for a long and happy future, precisely they dedicated their lives to cure the people. They founded a hospital in 1959 and since then a lot of people were helped.
Yesterday afternoon i was taken, near Lacor, to see some men that were fixing a tank of two tons, we are used to machines, to the fonds that are used to buy, fix this machines. They don't have any type of machines, they depend only on the strength of their arms, I have discovered that the manual work is not paid, so the men that I saw yesterday are doing and working for their own profit, to have resources for their future, for their families and noto to be paid.
